Commenting on the anticipation of the new league schedule is hard to put in words.
Oh wait, I just did so, more or less. So I am eagerly anticipating the chance to play more blood bowl outside of the League nights in Utrecht.. What is happening? Well instead of playing twice a month, on the 1th Thursday and the 3th Tuesday of every month when Blood-Bowl players congregate to the venue in Utrecht, the idea has grown that we need something extra to get people to play more. So new is a year long league where you need to complete games in a fixed roster, even if that means playing outside of those 2 days a month. I am all for more bloodbowl, so in that respect its a good idea. Planning is not always my forte though.
So first up on the menu.
The big hitters Night.
My Norse “Nordic Walkers” versus the enevitable Winners of the Last Cup “Albert Heijn Cup” the rotting undead “The Enevitables”.
TV 127 vs TV 120.
At first I had a very strong underdog feeling. Which is wierd due to my bigger TV rating. I will explain: My team has a much lower Armourvalue (AV), less dodge, no regeneration and overall less players. This translates into more fragility(and no bench to draw players from). I however have more Block, Piling on (2), and frenzy (boatloads). Most would take the Frenzy as a weakness, especially since the other side has more strenght and guard, but I think I can use it to my advantage.
My prediction. If I can stay alive for long enough and get lucky myself, I could win the game. There is no Agility (ag) 4 and the undead have only 5 central players. If I can take them out of the game then I have a shot. Its not easy, therefor I will give the Walkers a low percentage of winning chance. I have not done too well with the team and its been a while since i played the team. This guy is fresh on a winning flush and with current experience.
My chances to win 40%.
